Bach Boat Barbecue by Penny Oliver and Ian Batchelor is a selection of
recipes for relaxed summer meals, divided into four aptly named
courses, each of which celebrates a well-known aspect of the New
Zealand summer. Together the recipes and beautiful images remind us of
the quintessential kiwi summer holiday.
This book features
several photographs of our property. Those were the days, camping every
weekend in our two little sheds, spending our days planting native
trees, timber trees and vineyard. It was ten years before we moved to
live permanently on the property. Now the sheds, ‘twosheds’ as they
became known are used by friends and family for back-to-basics holiday
stays.
